About Shasta Kennel Club

Objective

To do all in it's power to protect and advance purebred dogs, and to encourage sportsman-like competition at all AKC sanctioned events (dog shows, obedience trials, etc.)

Meetings

Held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Call: 530-244-2577 for more information, meeting location or other inquiries, please leave your name, any questions and a number. Your call will be directed to the appropriate club member in regards to your inquiry.

Membership

Open to all persons 18 years or older who are in good standing with the AKC, and who subscribe to the purposes of the club. Jr. Membership is also available. Persons interested in Membership are required to attend 2 meetings before submitting an application to be reviewed by the Board of Directors and voted upon by the General Membership.

  • AKC Sanctioned All-Breed 2 day show with Butte County KC's 2 day show in June

  • Participation in Pet Therapy Activities at Hospitals and Convalescent Homes
  • Promote purebred rescue and placement
  • Pro-Active on Legal and Legislative activites affecting our animals
